Happy 18th Birthday Hayley!

I've never written a personal message on my blog. But Hayley is very special to me and so is my homegirl, her mother and my BFF, so tough shit. I love you guys; have a great life Hayley. You're beautiful, smart and have so much to look forward to. So please don't do the things your mother and I did, you know like being so good we were totally boring. BTW, you might want to keep that part to yourself because you know how people lie and make up bad stories about really good girls. And please don't ask your grandmother about us at your age, she's getting older and would most likely get us confused with some misbehaving brats. You know what good kids we were. And if anyone tells you we sneaked out at Fort Clark and got caught making out with a bunch of boys: That's just a big fat lie.

Anne Coulter Makes Fool of Herself Pretending She Understands Economics

Why in the hell is Anne Coulter even invited on Sunday Morning News Talk Shows experts are invited on to discuss important current events and political issues? Ms Coulter is notorious for the many outrageous, evil, racist remarks she more than occasionally decides to pull out of her bony little ass. During this particular show, little Annie makes a total fool of herself by trying to give an exceptionally distorted history of Keynesian economics. My favorite part is Elliot Spitzter kindly explaining to Coulter "your story would be nice if true, but it's not". Spitzer then left her speechless as he gave a correct explanation of Keynesian economics. If poor Ann wasn't emotionless she might have cried. The only thing Anne Coulter knows is how to be is crude, rude and socially unacceptable. Oh and wrong about everything.

To my Readers: Forgive Me if They Give Me the Good Drugs ( life saving medications) in the Hospital

Today Readers, I am having some minor surgery I've been putting off for months. The reason I've been procrastinating having it done for so long is, because in all honesty hospitals terrify me.. The only thing I find remotely positive about hospitals is they do give the best ~~drugs~~ medications to relieve pain and help me relax. The bad news is these same ~~drugs~~ medications also make make me say and do things I would rather never be reminded of (if I even remember doing them in the first place). My point in telling you all this is I'm terrified I'll post something incredibly stupid and embarrassing while I'm still high as a kite. So if happen to humiliate myself while I'm drugged up and I'm not fortunate enough to remove this particular post quick enough,.I hope you'll understand why I'm making absolutely no sense (unless you happen to be high too). Wish me luck. Peace and Love to All.

P.S. I won't be posting much during my recovery but I do promise to be back. I hope you'll join me.

Loretta Lynn Celebrates Family Planning in her Classic Single "The Pill"

I posted this last summer but I think recent events have Loretta Lynns's celebration of the birth control pill and the freedom it's inception gave to women. So I thought it deserved another go around to prove how wide spread and how long it's use has been. Let's face it the birth control pill changed everything for women and made it feasible for women to compete in what was once a "man's world". And Rick Santorum and those like him don't like this because they fear it.
There are 8 (now 11 and counting) states where United States Republican legislatures are not only attempting to take away a woman's right to terminate a pregnancy, they're even attempting to take away a woman's right to family planning. I think Loretta Lynn might have objected.. Listen to her sing "The Pill", a classic way back in 1965 when married women finally won the right to birth control. So once again enjoy:

Peeps on "The Fox News Show" Prove Why White House Needs to Monitor Lies

So Fox News is upset that the Obama administration might think it needs someone to monitor all the lies and misinformation being spread by the right wing media, led by ~~Republicans~~"The Fox News Show" channel, about the President. Wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago, (around the same time our Prez was kinda busy hunting down and killing America's most dangerous terrorist), that President Obama was being harangued daily by ~~Republicans~~ "The Fox News Show" channel to "just show us your birth certificate"? So if Grandma gets her "news" every day just from watching this particular channel and Uncle Bob only gets his "news" from some right wing rag on the Internet, they would have no idea the President is anything but some Muslim Manchurian President, raised in a Madrassa, who secretly "pals around with terrorists" and who may or may not be the Anti-Christ. Later, of course, Glenn Beck's teevee show that day will confirm Grandmas worst fears about the President while Uncle Bob forwards all those nasty "Obama is a secret Muslim terrorist lover" emails he gets from pals he met at the non-union, low wage jobs they all hate. Fox, just by turning this position into something it's not, only proves the White House's need to have someone monitoring disinformation and hopefully making sure to address it with something they hate: The Truth. That's exactly what peeps at the "Fox News Show" are so worried about: Someone who finds a way to tell Grandma and Uncle Bob The Truth, The Facts. Right Wing propaganda machines know they would have nothing good to say about the GOP they support, if they have to rely on facts. ~~Republicans~~ "The Fox News Show" and the Right Wing media has decided to ignore anything- especially those pesky facts- that get in the way of their Right Wing Agenda because even they really know (to paraphrase The Daily Show's Stephen Colbert): Facts have a Left Wing Agenda.

Follow Up: GOP Apologizes to BP: Rude to Elizabeth Warren

When I saw Congressman John Yarmuth apologizing for the rude behavior Republicans gave Elizabeth Warren, I was reminded of another apology given during a Congressional Hearing.

Remember this apology:

How Ironic. This apology came from a Republican to the very same type of people who I previously referred to as "the GOP's most powerful supporters. He was being questioned about multiple deaths and billions of dollars in damage to the U.S. Coast.

Yet, somehow I bet Congressman Barton(R-TX) would have found no reason to apology to Elizabeth Warren.

Democrat Apologizes for Republicans Extremely Rude Behavior to Elizabeth Warren (Video)

The behavior of the Republicans in yesterdays Congressional hearings was so reprehensible Democrat John Yarmuth(KY) actually found it necessary to apologize. And he was absolutely correct when he attributed their misogynistic response to Ms. Warren to fear of powerful, smart women who aren't afraid to do the right thing. Meaning, Elizabeth Warren will have the "balls" to take on the GOP's most powerful supporters on Wall Street and that's got them peeing in their little pants. Republicans can't even stand the thought of any kind of consumer protection agency (they still hate the EPA). The thought of someone as tough and smart as Elizabeth Warren has already showed she can be just by the way she handles obnoxious Republicans who think they're all that because they sit on some lame congressional committee but only prove they know jack about anything, must scare the crap out of these arrogant little p*ssants. I hope Elizabeth Warren knows most Americans who saw this behavior found it as deplorable as Cong. Yarmuth and would want his apology to speak for all of us.

YARMUTH: I apologize to the witness, Dr. Warren, for the rude and disrespectful behavior of the chair. The snarky comments about a Senate race, and the questioning of your veracity when there is documented evidence that you are being totally truthful indicates to me that this hearing is all about impugning you because people are afraid of you and your ability to communicate in very clear terms the threats to our consumers and the threats to our constituents and possibly very, very effective ways to combat them. So I think, in one respect, I congratulate you for instilling such fear in the committee, on the majority side, and in some aspects, or segments, of the business community because they understand how effective you are in getting the message out to the American people.

Wisconsin Republican's Prove Republicans Hate Democracy

What's happening in Wisconsin should surprise no one who's paid any attention to Republican politics. Just like GOP leaders in Washington who seem to care less about what's best for the American people, Republicans in Wisconsin have done everything they possibly can in their attempt dismantle democracy in their state. Time and time again they have shown absolutely no regard to the people, to basic fairness or even to the law if it gets in their way. Their behavior has become so outrageous many of the citizens of Wisconsin began a successful campaign to have these legislators recalled. These authoritarian leaders have shown nothing but disrespect and disdain for American democracy, and true to form have now resorted to making voting difficult for those constituencies who based on past voting trends are most likely to vote Democrat. They even managed to rush that legislation through using what may be seen as questionable tactics. Rachel Maddow did a great job Friday on this story concerning what is quickly becoming a trend in Republican run states.
